The fuel accumulator

On models with the 5-cylinder engine and system of injection KE-III-Jetronic below on a protective flange of a fuel tank the fuel accumulator is located. By means of force of a tension of a spring pressure of fuel in the pipeline going to the engine, at that time here is supported when the engine and the fuel pump are switched off. The sense of all of it consists in that to restart of the engine fuel moved at once under the necessary pressure. Besides, the fuel accumulator counterbalances a difference in pressure upon the pump party.
