Nuts of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders of the 5-cylinder engine should be twirled in the represented sequence at first following moments of an inhaling 5 Н•м, then 10 Н•м, and in last turn 12 Н•м.
At the left: on the 5-cylinder engine коленвал it is possible to turn a nut of a pulley of the generator (a key of 24 mm). If the belt slips a little, it is necessary to load it with a hand.
On the right: a cranked shaft of the 6-cylinder engine turn the central bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft. As the tool the 12-faced replaceable face head of 24 mm with a rattle or the lever is applied.
ВМТ it is found, if the mark "About" has appeared on a flywheel under edge of the case of a transmission (arrow).
At the left: one more mark ВМТ at 6-cylinder engines is located on a pulley or the bottom protective cover of a gear belt (arrow).
On the right: at ВМТ the moment of ignition of the first cylinder the big apertures of adjusting plates on both drivers camshaft gear wheels are directed to the middle of the engine (marksman).
For carrying out of some works it is necessary or to result a cranked shaft in certain position, or to turn it.
For this purpose in the car with a mechanical transmission on an equal surface it is necessary to include the fifth transfer and to roll away the car a little forward or back.
On the 4-cylinder engine to put bent накидной a key on 22 mm on the central nut of a pulley of the generator and to turn the engine through клиновой a belt. If the belt slips, it is necessary for pressing through between pulleys a free hand and by that to pull.
On the 5-cylinder engine to put рожковый a wrench of 24 mm on the central nut of a pulley of the generator and to turn the engine in the same way, as 4-cylinder.
On the 6-cylinder engine to put a 12-faced replaceable face head of 24 mm on the central bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft and to turn a cranked shaft a rattle or the lever.
Never turn the engine for a bolt of fastening of a gear wheel of a gear belt on distributive to a shaft at the removed casing of a gear belt! The gear belt can jump, result – engine damages.
Installation of the cylinder 1 in position of the top dead point (ВМТ) the ignition moment
In the four-cycle engine the piston two times comes to the top dead point (ВМТ): the first time at ignition of the let in gas mixture and the second time after emission of the fulfilled gases with beginning in summary repeated всасывании fuel/air mixes. Usually at various adjusting works it is necessary ВМТ the moment of ignition of the first cylinder.
4-cylinder and 5-cylinder engines: to uncover, separating the breaker from the ignition distributor, бегунок the distributor of ignition and a protective cover. To put on all four sides between a sealing lining of a head of the block of cylinders and a cover of the bearing of a camshaft it is a little Silimate AMV 174 004 01 from a warehouse запчатей Audi. To watch that the aperture for oil below on a cover of the bearing of a camshaft thus was not hammered.
